But with a few simple measures you can get through the cold season healthy and active - and we from suissephysio will be happy to support you!

1. Exercise despite the cold: How to stay fit in winter

Even if it is cold and uncomfortable outside, exercise should not be neglected. Regular walks or light jogging strengthen the immune system and get the circulation going.

For home, there are targeted exercises to prevent tension - such as stretching exercises or yoga.

Tip: If you feel unsure which exercises are suitable for you, contact us. We show you simple movements that are specially tailored to your needs.

2. Warmth for the body: avoid tension

The cold season can quickly lead to muscle tension, as we often unconsciously pull up our shoulders or take a tense posture in the cold.

Be sure to keep warm, especially neck and back.

Hot water bottles or grain pillows are true miracle cures to relax the muscles.

Our offer:In our practice, we offer targeted heat applications that relieve tension and promote blood circulation. Try it out!

3. Strengthen the immune system: nutrition and relaxation

A balanced diet is particularly important in the winter. Rely on fresh vegetables, fruit and hot food that warms the body from the inside. Citrus fruits, ginger and herbal teas provide important vitamins and strengthen your immune system.

Stress reduction also plays a major role: Regular relaxation - whether with a cup of tea or through targeted breathing exercises - helps to stay healthy and fit in winter.

4. Minimize the risk of injury in slippery conditions

Ice and snow increase the risk of falls. A good footing and stable muscles are therefore crucial. With targeted physiotherapeutic exercises, we can improve your gait safety and minimize the risk.

Tip:Have your shoes checked and use non-slip soles to be safe on smooth surfaces.

5. Use the winter for yourself!

Winter also offers the opportunity to take time for yourself. Maybe you want to tackle a long-planned physiotherapy or try something new like pelvic floor training?

We are at your disposal with individual programs to make the cold season your personal health time.

Our conclusion: Healthy together through the winter

The winter time poses special challenges for our health, but with the right measures you can stay fit and relaxed. Our suissephysio team will be happy to support you with tailor-made therapies and practical tips for your everyday life.

Make an appointment now and get through the winter in good health!
